Combi boiler installation · Burnaby, BC
Replacing an older boiler? A combination boiler can serve your home’s space heating and domestic hot water. Let’s check whether it suits your system and household.
Installation planning starts with your existing system, not just a model number.
Two jobs. Different circuits.
A combi boiler heats water for the home’s heating system and separately supplies hot water to taps and showers. A standalone tankless water heater typically serves domestic hot water only.
That distinction matters when you are comparing quotes or replacing equipment.
| What you need | Combi boiler | Standalone tankless |
|---|---|---|
| Hot water at taps | Yes | Yes |
| Hydronic space heating | Designed for both functions | Not a direct substitute for a combi system |
| Planning focus | Heating load and hot water demand | Domestic hot water demand |
The installed system and selected equipment determine suitability. We assess the whole setup before recommending a replacement.
The fit matters
A combi boiler is not automatically a drop-in replacement for a forced-air furnace or a separate water heater.
From enquiry to installation
Bring us your questions and the details of your current equipment. You do not need to choose a boiler before getting in touch.
Start with the heating system, hot water needs and the reason for replacing the equipment.
Review the proposed equipment and installation scope, including any changes needed around the boiler.
Confirm the installation arrangements and system checks before booking the work.
Before choosing a combi
Yes. Both terms describe a boiler that provides space heating and domestic hot water.
Capacity varies by model and incoming water temperature. We need to review your simultaneous hot water demand before recommending equipment.
That depends on the condition of both, your heating system and your household’s needs. A combi is one option to evaluate, not the right answer for every home.
Do not assume it does. The Energy Savings Program heat pump offer is separate from a gas combi boiler installation. Any incentive must be confirmed for the specific equipment and household.
