One combi boiler.

Replacing an older boiler? A combination boiler can serve your home’s space heating and domestic hot water. Let’s check whether it suits your system and household.

Installation planning starts with your existing system, not just a model number.

Two jobs. Different circuits.

More than a tankless water heater.

A combi boiler heats water for the home’s heating system and separately supplies hot water to taps and showers. A standalone tankless water heater typically serves domestic hot water only.

That distinction matters when you are comparing quotes or replacing equipment.

The installed system and selected equipment determine suitability. We assess the whole setup before recommending a replacement.

The fit matters

Will it work in your home?

A combi boiler is not automatically a drop-in replacement for a forced-air furnace or a separate water heater.

  • Your heating system
How heat is distributed through the home, including existing hydronic zones.
  • Your hot water demand
Bathrooms, fixtures and how much hot water the household uses at the same time.
  • Your installation space
Gas supply, venting, condensate drainage and access for service.

From enquiry to installation

Know what is being replaced.

Bring us your questions and the details of your current equipment. You do not need to choose a boiler before getting in touch.

  1. Review the existing setup

Start with the heating system, hot water needs and the reason for replacing the equipment.

  2. Work through the quote

Review the proposed equipment and installation scope, including any changes needed around the boiler.

  3. Plan the work

Confirm the installation arrangements and system checks before booking the work.

Before choosing a combi

Questions we can work through.

Is a combination boiler the same as a combi boiler?

Yes. Both terms describe a boiler that provides space heating and domestic hot water.

Can it supply several showers at once?

Capacity varies by model and incoming water temperature. We need to review your simultaneous hot water demand before recommending equipment.

Should I replace my boiler and tank together?

That depends on the condition of both, your heating system and your household’s needs. A combi is one option to evaluate, not the right answer for every home.

Does the heat pump rebate cover this installation?

Do not assume it does. The Energy Savings Program heat pump offer is separate from a gas combi boiler installation. Any incentive must be confirmed for the specific equipment and household.
