The outdoor unit of the split airconditioner must be installed on a firm and flat surface. The
essential components of the airconditioner, such as the condenser, compressor, and fan motor
are contained in the outdoor unit. Given this, the outdoor will vibrate vigorously if not installed
on a flat surface. Excess vibration of the unit can result in coolant leakage, the breakage of copper
pipes, and damage to the condenser or compressor. In addition, the vibrating components will
make disturbing noises to you and your neighbours.
